B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering is an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering course. Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. It is four years duration course. The value of the course is immense, and it is job orienting in nature. Most of the colleges/universities are offering the course in the country.

Eligibility

    (i) 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biology/Technical vocational subject/ Comp. sci./Info. Tech. with minimum 45% marks in above subjects taken together and 40% for reserve cat. (II) A candidate may be admitted directly to the 3rd Semester (LEET) of these courses if She/he has passed 3 year Diploma Course from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks and 40% for reserve cat.
